Aggressive , intimidating employee/******ionate fine

I was at OR Tambo International drop off today, around 09:30 am dropping my husband who is travelling on a 2 month project. We parked at the drop off zone and I walked my husband to the entrance, about 10 metres from the car. Said goodbye and was back at the car within about 2 mins. By which time the Ma***o security people had clamped the car. None of them were visible when I was walking away from the car, none of them warned me not to leave the car and they clearly saw me walk the 10 metres and return because the one guard was waiting when I got back to the car. The drop off zone was nearly empty, tons of parking space and maybe a handful of other cars. He was rude, aggressive and intimidating. I was crying due to leaving my husband, I admitted to being wrong for leaving the car. I tried to explain about walking my husband to the entrance but he continued to speak rudely and aggressively to me. I kept asking how to get the clamp removed and where to pay the fine. He wouldn't answer except to ask in a very aggressive manner, if I wanted to pay the R2000. When I kept saying I would pay the fine and where should I go he eventually waved at a colleague and told him to deal with me. My impression was that the first guy was trying to intimidate me into paying a bribe. I insisted on speaking to a Ma***o supervisor . I spoke to the Acsa person who took my payment. Acsa pointed the finger at Ma***o and Ma***o pointed the finger at Acsa when questioned why the fine was so high and who was receiving the money. Rules might be rules but when you are forced to pay R2000 for leaving your car for 2 mins, under the threat of Metro police being called then it becomes ****************. Bribery or money making racket. Either way the Ma***o employee's behaviour was unacceptable. I've complained to Acsa and to Ma***o directly. Will be interesting to see what if any response is received. Beware when dropping off at OR Tambo - do not leave your car or bring your R2000 with you!
