Mafikeng Game store ripped us off

My father bought a Hisense flat screen -55inch at Mafikeng Game store last year April 2016. The problem started when the tv showed some black ink like on the screen. He took the tv back to the same store for assistance on whether they will repair or replace the tv. The TV was then sent to their repair center I don't know where. When he went back to the store to see if there is any progress he was told that he needs to pay R10 000 for the screen (that's a ridiculous amount to pay to replace a SCREEEN!!!)Their so called reason is that, the insurance does not cover screens. He was not told anything about what the insurance covers when he bought it but only when he wanted to claim. I believe when selling a product everything has to be explained to the customer in detail so that the client will know if it is worth buying the product or not. This TV was still under warranty when he returned it. My father insisted on taking the TV back as he cannot afford that amount. The screen is getting worse as we speak.

Apparently the stuff wasn't as helpful and treating this situation very lightly. My father is not that literate about the process of complains. So I'm doing this for him. Mafikeng Game store has ripped my father of his money and they don't care. I hope to get an answer for this ridiculous service
