Terrible Customer Services
If you want to enjoy your Jeep never take it to Maemo Motors for services or any repairs. Every time i take my car there, there must be something am not happy with , their after sales experience is terrible. I bought Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT at the dealership in 2015 i loved the car but the service i got from them made me hate Jeep. This was my second Jeep Grand Cherokee i bought from them and my previous experience wasn't good either but i thought maybe with the second car the experience will be better .
My first Jeep had a problem with Gear Box and some electronics system that caused the car to switch off in the middle of no where and it wouldn't start again. I took the car to Maemo Motors several times but they never managed to fix the car once and for all. Every time they will tell me its fixed but after few days it will give me the same problem. Eventually their New car sales person approached me and convinced me to trade-in the vehicles. So i did and traded the car for a brand Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT.
At about 15 000 km the car wouldn't start in the garage at home because of flat battery , i call maemo motors and they directed to call roadside assistance and i did. Roadside assistance send a tow truck to come pick up the vehicle but they couldn't take it out of the garage because we could not put on neutral. I could roadside assistance again and they send technician from Maemo Motors . This Technician took more than 4 hours to disengage the gears and he eventually figure it out that he must jump start the car and the car started. I drove the car to the workshop and they checked it and the said its fine. Now and then i will complain about the battery that going flat but no real solution. Eventually when maintenance plan was not covering electronics they put the battery on the test machine and told me the battery is dead i need to change it at my own cost.
Recently i took the car for service at 94 000 km and asked them to check my right wheel as it sometimes make noise when you turn. The car came back and they couldn't figure out what was the problem. I drove the car for few days and i took it back with the same problem but still could not figure what is the problem. When the car was at 100 700 km the noise became worse and i took it back and only now they tell me the problem is the "transfer case" and they need to change it at the cost of R 83 000 and i must pay for this because the maintenance plan expired. When i told them i do not have that kind of money they again send their New Car Sales person to convince me to sell the car.
I feel this is ****** pathetic and out right poor customer services. Is Jeep selling **** product that a person cannot drive beyond 100 000 km??? Where is the value for money??
If you think of buying a Jeep take your money somewhere else.
