Deposit refund from Maemo Motors

After Robert from Maemo Motors sent me an approval, I told him that the installment was too much. And asked him how much deposit was required to bring installment down and we agreed on R10K. I then paid it.

Delivery was done and the car was wrong. We argued and then ended up canceling the deal. Now they refuse to give me the deposit back. They call my R10K a holding fee, while I never booked or requested them to hold the car for me.

The deal was canceled as they failed to sell me what they promised me initially and now they refuse to give me my money back.

NB The R10K was paid just because I needed to bring my installment down. I have a chain of emails as proof that no holding fee was ever requested. Even when I was at their dealership canceling the deal, they did not bring it up. When I sent them an email with banking details they ignored it until I sent a SMS to the sales person.

Please intervene urgently.
