I WANT MY MONEY BACK

So I booked at the BnB in October or November if I am not mistaken for my family for the 30,31 (dec) until the 1st (jan), then the President on his speech announced that NMB is the hotspot for COVID 19 and he gave NMB a curfew so I sat and thought that it would very risky of us to go in a public place in times like these and some of the family members are not from P.E so they are scared to come over

I contacted the BnB for cancellation and the Lady I spoke to said she is going to inform the owner then they sent me and email saying that when you cancel they keep the money as a credit I did not understand that because we are not living in our "normal times" what if something happens to one of us God forbid

I sent them an email stating my concerns mentioned above I did not get any response I called after two days and asked to speak to the owner the Lady said the owner is in a meeting she took my contact details claiming that the owner will call me back and I waited

I called again after a day or two the owner was in a meeting again and I received a NASTY attitude from the Lady that I spoke to telling me that they are not going to give me my money back I must book again next year and she hug up

I would have preferred the to handle the matter professionally I felt that the owner was avoiding me because she/he knows that they are being unfair even if I would have waited until next year after the ill treatment I am not going to set my foot into their BnB I demand my money back
