Phony?

In response to an ad from MegaBargain24.com on the MSN Feed page that appears to be my home internet page, I registered with Madbid. The financial transaction was effected - in effect bought a number of bids and was credited with an additional number equal to what I'd purchased - apparently a special offer! One has to log in ... I was sent a 'password'. That is where the system appeared to end. I was unable to login (you are not authorised this portal ..). When I phoned a contact number, 0800... a recording advised that the number didn't exist. I couldn't use any other means of contact with the company because I wasn't allowed to log on. So they have the money I paid for the bids, and I have ???
