Macs Cool/ Refrigeration Equipment devious business practices !

<p>We purchased a fridge compressor from Macs Refrigeration in Port Elizabeth. After four months the compressor packed up. We returned the compressor and the warrantee was declined. The reason they gave us was that the refrigeration company that installed it did not do their job properly. We tried to explain to them that the installation company was Hawk Refrigeration, which has been in the refrigeration business for over 30 years. After several arguments, they were bent on not replacing it. We handed the matter over to our attorneys and they decided to fight the matter in court. After a few months, they offered us a refurbished compressor which we were very reluctant to accept, but we decided to take this refurbished compressor. To our surprise this compressor also packed up after four months. We wrote to head office and a Harald Von Ey rep**** indirectly that there was nothing he could do and referred to us as “Serial Litigators” and “I’m glad we have no further dealings.” Im sorry to say but you just lost ten more customers ! </p>
