Excellent Service

Our car's clutch broke on a Sunday on the road between Ixopo and Richmond. An extremely friendly driver from Mac's Towing arrived on the scene in a reasonable amount of time, towed our car to Richmond and waited with us for over an hour for the rental car to arrive. He even offered to give the rental car guy a lift back to Pietermaritzburg where he towed our vehicle for repairs at their garage. We were able to return to our holiday resort for the night near Ixopo and collect the car professionally repaired, even to the point of cleaning it, in time for our trip back to Johannesburg the next day. Even better the cost of the entire incident turned out less than the last time the clutch was repaired 4 years previously at the car dealership back home. I have had a number of breakdowns in my lifetime far from home and this is the first time that I have not felt fleeced to the bone by operators taking advantage of my discomfort.
