Protocol not followed

I received a called today from a lady from MacRobert Attorenys, called to say my credit card with standard bank is arrears. I mentioned that I am unemployed since December 2014 and thats reason i havent paid my CC. I also mentioned the same story to Standard Bank. I am astowned how debt collectors treat people. This lady just went on saying i must pay, my question to her is, how do you expect me to pay if im unemployed? Then she threatened that i must just wait for the summons and she will proceed legally. It is not that i resigned from my job, i was retrenched and the company liquidated. These are circumstances beyond my control. I have an 18 month child and i am a family man. Surely the well been of my family comes first. I have had my credit card with Standard Bank for the past 6 years and never skipped an instalment. Now that i am in this situation i am been treated like this. The NCA came into effect to protect us as SA residence from people like these. This lady has given MacRobert a bad reputation which has also pushed me to send through an email to STD Bank and the NCA. I dont believe people should be treated like this if an account is not paid.
