<p>Last month, Mac Roberts Attorneys called me to settle my standard bank account.. I was rather shocked because, My account was dismissed with Credit Works & Standard Bank. I was expecting credit works to deduct the amount of R300. but they didn't, as they let go of the case. I called standard bank and credit works to find out what was going on and they told me that it's no longer an issue. The Standard bank account was closed from Standard Bank's side. I could no longer use it - at all. Couldn't check my balance, couldn't use an atm etc. </p> <p>Mac Roberts Attorneys called me in the beginning of this month, persisting that I pay off the amount. I told them what credit works told me - my account is no longer an issue, they ignored what I said and I had to Pay R200 to the "dead standard bank account" </p> <p>Mac Roberts Attorneys sends me a message this morning saying that I must pay R200 AGAIN, to a different account number!! </p> <p>Regardless of me being under Debt Review, I must cough up money to pay off an account that longer works!! Between standard Bank and Mac Roberts Attorneys and Credit works, THERE IS NO RECORDS, STATEMENTS, BLACK AND WHITE OFFICIAL NOTICES! How do I know that any of this is legal??????</p>
