Extremely dissatisfied with feedback from Macprop after my deposit was refunded. Frans and Koos simply ignore my request to get clarity on why such a big amount was deducted. I have evidence that most of the areas they stipulated on my outgoing inspection report was damaged or faulty when I moved in, they surely deducted this amount from the previous tenants and now again from my deposit. The result is that they are expecting me to pay for upgrades to the unit. I suspect contract breach as the contract I signed clearly mentioned that interest of 4% will be earned on my deposit. I have asked numerous times to get a reconciled statement showing that this interest was accrued, management simply don't respond. In closing, do yourself a favor and steer away from using Macprop's services.
