I have a funeral policy that I spend on the 05 August 2025 for my Cousin n she passed on the 14 February 2026 n now the company does not want to pay me out become they say the policy did not reach the 6 month cover period

I have a funeral policy that I spend on the 05 August 2025 for my Cousin n she passed on the 14 February 2026 n now the company does not want to pay me out become they say the policy did not reach the 6 month cover period. But when I count it my self it has reached the 6months cover period. Please assist as they don't want to give me a copy of my contract n upon her death they did not even send me one message of condolences or something.
