MAC DONALD WORST EXPERIENCE (ACCUSED OF NOT PAYING IN FRONT OF CLIENTS AFTER TAKING OUR MONEY

Today Saturday 3rd of August a friend and I, went to Mac Donald's Rynfield Benoni for breakfast. Mac Donald's use to be our favorite monthly meet up place. Today that all changed, we arrived together ordered our meals, indoors, went to pay. Gave R100 X2 notes. Then ordered with the change something extra. I suspected a shortfall of change, went to the table with my best friend, thought I would wait for our food to be brought to check if I had miscalculated. Waited about 20 minutes no food, went to enquire, said food coming. Then another lady came to ask for my slip, I unpacked my bag to show her I was not giving my slip. Only the extra order placed slip. Waited again, another person came saying we did not pay. We were now very irrated and embarrassed because people were watching. Called for manager, pointed out who we gave money too. There was a lady dressed in a uniform and the self help machine, she scanned the order, but we paid cash at the teller cash. We waited about 30 minutes, with one lady after another coming to us. They said the order could not be seen on the system. The lady conformed taking the cash, then they found the slip. Brought our food, gave us a extra burger. Then another women came to us while we were eating. She said SORRY YOU DID NOT PAY FOR YOUR MEAL. In front of all the people. We both got angry, I said check your cameras. I also asked for the manager. Was told cannot access the cameras. No manager available. Only the women who were a few, ladies Insulting us in front of other clients. They were not quite but loud enough, that one family man, tried to help us. He said demand camera footage. Our meal was the worst because we were so embarrassed and Insulted. Cold by the time we could eat. I called the manager they said his name Godfrey, who was the head mannager i was told. No answer, sent sms, tried WhatsApp. I will never eat at MAC DONALDS AGAIN. HOW RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. Short changed, cold food. ACCUSED by a few of the staff while trying to eat. Their story kept changing. Took a picture of my slip that they kept. Took their names.
