BOOMHUIS MABALINGWE - AWFUL

We booked at Boomhuis self catering unit at Mabalingwe Game Reserve. This property is however on a farm and not actually in the reserve itself. The pictures are deceiving. Six sleeper but only place for 4 people at the dining table. Only fans in two of the rooms. Electricity kept on tripping and we had to move the fridge to another plug in front of the kettle and cupboard in order for our fridge to stay on. One part of the units plugs were not working and we could not have any fans on. To add insult when calling the "hosts" I was told that I need to remember this is the bush. Paying the amount we did I expect better thats for sure. My husband had to try and sort it out and when going to have a look at the DB board outside was shocked in the process. No lighting by the braai area or the stairs leading up to the house from braai area. One of the decks planks were missing and something put over so one does not go through it. Ceiling in the one room was also damaged. The worst is getting a message saying we should vacate by 10:00. No explanation. Another alarming piece of information learnt while trying to find other accomodation and being assisted was guests are not to enter at the main gate of Mabalingwe as this property is "op die plotte" as it was put in the notice by the owner. Why is this if Boomhuis is advertised under Mabalingwe Game Reserve. We travel alot and never have we ever been so disgusted with this kind of behaviour or standard of accommodation.
