Very bad experience & bad management!

When we arrived at the Kalahari camp on Friday afternoon workers were working on water pipes and no 5 geyser. Until 9 pm they were there while we wanted to enjoy the peace and make dinner in the lapa. We were left without water and they only gave us one bucket of water each to flush the toilets. The next morning same thing, worker everywhere. We had to pick up and make breakfast at another camp where they gave us one shower for 10 people. As soon as they left saying the water was fine something else broke. They were all over the camp until the evening. Very unpleasant. We were absolutely disgusted when we learned from the staff that the problem was reported to management on Tuesday already when an elephant broke the pipes, but they only arrived on Friday to fix it. We have no problem with the workers, they tried their best. Management is however totally inept.<br> <br> On top of it the tent windows could not be opened because they were tied down with wire. Would anybody enjoy staying in a dark tent without windows during the day? This camp should be closed for renovations, but instead we paid R6,000 for 2 nights. All of us emailed Mabalingwe, but still waiting for a response. Be warned!
