Bad and expensive service

I contacted Anton to come and look at my tumble dryer. He could not fix it, which is fine. I have no problem with that. I paid a call out fee of R450. Then I asked him if he could look at my ice maker. He said that he will take it with him and let me know within a week if he would be able to fix it. I heard nothing. When following up, he said that it is something small. He will fix it asap and I can collect in a week. Again, I heard nothing. I followed up weekly for 6 weeks. He just ignored by emails and everytime I spoke to him, he promised I will get the ice maker by the end of that week.

It took him 6 weeks to fix a small problem with my ice maker. He did not provide a quotation but he kept on saying it is something small. When I finally got my ice maker, he charged me R440 for an hour labour for something small.

I will never ever make use of his services again and I will definitely not recommend him. My ice maker is working, but the customer service was horrible and extremely expensive.
