I have bought two Brother sewing machines from Ma Dame Stitch. The first machine I had no issues and, in fact, I loved this machine. I then purchased an upgrade and since then, I have had endless problems. To cut a long story short, I have spent money on three "services" which were totally unnecessary, because the dealer did not possess sufficient knowledge of the product. The last incident, they found a warn part, which took 4 months to obtain and replace. When I got my machine back, it wasn't sewing properly. Apparently, they only guarantee their workmanship for 7 days and it was now out of guarantee. I had to pay for another "service" and was told the timing was out and that they had found a fault on the PC board. I asked, at the time, that the Needle Down button be fixed as it was not working correctly. When I collected the machine 3 weeks later, this was still not fixed. The machine is sewing much better, however, when I started using the embroidery arm, I discovered the tension on this was now a problem. I found bits of green thread the technician had been using in the bobbin stuck inside the machine and the machine was filthy inside. Even though it is within the 7 days, I will never take my machine back to Ma Dame Stitch's technicians as they obviously do not take the appropriate care and have no pride in their work. They do not test the machines properly before returning them to the customer.
