Trojan TR500 treadmills not worth the money

We bought the Trojan TR500 treadmill about two and a half years ago for near on R 10 000.00 from Makro for my wife . The motor and board according to trojan repair team is blown and will cost nearly 7000 rand to fix. How does the board and motor blow after on user running on it for an hour a day , 5 days a week. So if you want to use the treadmill for anything other than a decoration or hat holder , do not buy the Trojan treadmill.
