The WORST sales experience I’ve ever had

I sent my phone in for repairs and was offered a backup phone to use in the meantime, which I could return and pay the difference when my phone was fixed. The repair would be ready the following morning, I was told. Two days later, the temporary phone had issues with the power button and would turn off randomly or be stuck in standby mode. On bringing it back, I was told that it would take another two days and that the broken temporary phone would need to be taken apart an repaired while I waited for an hour. I was suddenly informed that they have a no refund policy despite there being no mention of this on the slip or on signage anywhere in the store. The “receipt” was simply writing the transaction on the back of a business card (you could just buy a reciept book from Spar just next door). I literally walked out with a phone that was held together by rubber bands and wet glue. The phone that was defective when I bought it, and I had to bring it back that same afternoon as the screen stopped working.They took the broken temporary phone back as well as my original phone and no refund. I had to waste my time going up and down between magistrates court and police stations to get a letter of demand to get a refund and my phone back.

On arriving with the police, the repair technician thought it was hilarious and wanted to take photos of the letter of demand.He actually DID fix my phone but didn’t bother telling me until I pitched up with the police. Absolutely couldn’t be bothered to show good customer service. Totally unprofessional and childish when it came to addressing issues that came up. There is another phone repair shop at Los Across Spar less than a 2 minute drive away. If you want piece of mind and a fair and honest/ transparent salesman, go there. Worst sales experience ever. If your phone has any issues after taking it here, you’ll be in a world of trouble. You’ll regret going to MZ Cellular, believe me!
