Poor service and communication

Recently my partner's company went under liquidation. Its now been 3 weeks and my partner hasn't received her salary yet. We were told last week that it would be paid by the 7th in order for us to pay bills. Our landlord has now told us that we will have to vacate the premises by tomorrow if rent isn't paid. Just before her company went under liquidation she was not recieving her proper salary which delayed rent payments which is now affecting us. Surely this is not our fault and now we are the ones facing eviction. We cannot get a straight answer as to when this will be paid. My partner asked for the lady there to send an email to say when it will be paid so that we can show to our landlord but has been waiting the entire day. This is our lives u guys are playing with here. Please assist urgently
