I was given a Wilkinson Sword Butcher's Knife as a present and after a year the steel is in a shocking condition, the edge is very ragged and breaks off.<br> <br> This knife according to the company web page statement has a lifetime guarantee: - superior knife ranges, both endorsed by the Wilkinson Sword Quality Mark for superior workmanship and quality guaranteeing the consumer for a lifetime that Wilkinson Sword products are unquestionable in terms of quality.<br> <br> I emailed the company in April and received NO response whatsoever to my mail, again in May.<br> <br> I then took the knife back to the store where it was bought in 2014
