M E BASSA Properties

Rented a townhouse via M E Bassa Properties for the duration of 2 years & 8 months. My husband paid a deposit of R16000, as requested by Mr Bassa, before we moved in.

Mr Bassa insisted that we move in the middle of the month or risk losing the premises. When we requested to move out in the middle of the month he was not willing to assist in any way & we were liable to pay a full month's rental despite having to have to move out in the middle of the month due to certain circumstances.

On exit inspection every door & cupboard hinge & bulb was inspected. Yet faults reported on entrance inspection was never fixed.

Two years & 8 months later, once the tenancy has come to an end, Mr Bassa now decides to hold us, the ex tenant, liable for water charges from inception! No water bill was ever received from Mr. Bassa! Agreed with Mr Bassa before moving in that the rental included water usage.

How pathetic can this estate agency get!

The staff are rude & arrogant towards their clients! They never return calls and take days to reply to emails.

Day light ******* and blatant thievery!
