If I could give this rental agency zero stars, I would. My experience with Luxe Living Realty has been nothing short of a nightmare and has left me questioning whether the agency has any effective systems, communication, or oversight in place. From the outset, I was assured that the apartment was available for immediate occupation. Based on these assurances, I submitted all the requested documentation, signed the lease, paid the required amounts, and made arrangements to move. Only after everything had been finalized was I informed that the existing tenant would not be vacating as originally indicated. This left my family scrambling to find temporary accommodation at additional cost. When access to the apartment was eventually granted, the property was in an unacceptable condition. It was clearly not ready for occupation. There were items left behind by the previous tenant, a roach-infested couch still inside the unit, uncompleted cleaning, outstanding painting, broken fixtures, electrical issues, stained fittings, and numerous maintenance defects. This is not what any tenant should receive after signing a lease and paying rent. What followed was weeks of repeated promises that never materialized. I was continually told that contractors would arrive, repairs would be completed, the couch would be removed, painting would be done, maintenance would happen over the weekend, and the signed lease would be sent. Each time I followed up, another promise was made, only for nothing to happen. Months later, many of these issues remained unresolved. The communication throughout the process was extremely poor. Every update had to be chased. Calls and messages frequently went unanswered, and when responses did come, they were often accompanied by assurances that were not followed through. The most alarming part of this experience came when the landlord contacted me directly. She advised that she had not signed a lease agreement bearing my name, questioned why the person named on the lease was not the individual occupying the property, and further stated that she had not received recent rental payments. These were deeply concerning issues for any tenant to hear. Naturally, I sought urgent clarification from the agent and the agency, but my questions went unanswered. Attempting to escalate the matter proved equally frustrating. Other agents within the agency promised to investigate and call me back, but failed to do so. I also attempted to visit the agency at the business address listed publicly, only to find that they were not operating from those premises. At that point, having exhausted every reasonable avenue to resolve the matter directly with the agency, I lodged a formal complaint with the Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority (PPRA). My experience involved inaccurate information regarding availability, delayed occupation, an apartment that was not fit for handover, repeated broken promises, unresolved maintenance issues, poor communication, and serious unanswered questions regarding the administration of my tenancy. I cannot recommend Luxe Living Realty based on my experience. I sincerely hope no other tenant has to go through what I have endured.
