Michel Herbelin wstch

I’ve bought a Michel Herbelin watch May 2020. It started losing time a few months back. Yes as you guessed just outside it’s warranty period.

I had the battery checked and it was fine.

I then returned the watch to Michel Herbelin. (Luxco).

They claimed that the watch has dust due to being opened.and worked on! The watch lost time before the battery was checked. But they did not own the bad quality. Note: This watch was not worked on! But thus was an easy way out for a watch that was either sold as new but refurbished or just plain bad quality!

I’m so disappointed and told them to return the watch after they wanted to charge me 30% of its purchase price to service. Possibly about 50-70% of current value.

Now the question is- are the company selling refurbished watches as new or just bad quality.
