Lack there of

I was called in for an interview. Weeks go by even months just for me to be told that the position has been put on hold. A week later I see someone on LinkedIn posting they got the exact same job.. like is it so difficult for the manager to tell me I was unsuccessful? Didn't even recieve an email. Lucky I wasn't appointed here, I wouldn't want to work for a company with a culture such as this.
