Lupa ruined birthday with poor food and poor response to issue.

Took my girlfriend to this restaurant for the first time, for her birthday. We waited over an hour for our food with no one checking up on us or no visibility of any staff to be able to call and ask. Once the food came, mine was extremely salty and vinegary and awful and I tried to eat it to avoid complaining, especially since it was a special day, but it was very bad and once again no staff was in sight to tell. I had to get up and go to the front and tell them and they advised me that they will call the manager. I waited for about 10 minutes and then the waiter came and asked me the issue and said that he will call the manager. After another 10 minutes she came and agreed that there was too much lemon juice added and she said the chef agreed and apologizes. They didnt charge for the item and asked ig I wanted to order anything else, I couldnt because it was going to take so long to come and them my girlfriend would be waiting watching me eat etc. To pay the bill, after my gf was done and after I stayed hungry waiting for her, no staff were around to flag and we had to go to the front. I asked the manager if there is any compensation and she said we took the item off your bill and I advised that its not compensation as you only removed the charge of the item that I didnt eat and she said shes noy allowed to as her manager is going to ask her why she gave compensation.

This is not right and not the level of service. I came here as someone recommended it to me and it seems I will never recommend this to anyone now.
