Suspicious activities at Luno. They can’t be trusted
I received an email this morning from Luno saying that they have closed my account at my request but I didn’t request that my account be closed. I can’t reply to the email, nor can I now access my account.
I received an email from them on 19 January saying that my account would be closed by 22 January but would not provide a reason, also stating that they had initially informed me on 15 January via email, but there was no such email.
I tried on multiple occasions to contact them to resolve the issue but only received a response on 21 January which was very vague, and was told that a specialist would need to review my account. I received no further communication despite my efforts of communication.
I now have no access to my account or my funds. There is no means of communication with Luno and they are poorly responsive to service requests via their bots or emails.
I have multiple reference numbers for their communications which went unaddressed.
My account has been closed though, and as per the email this morning, is said to be at my request. I didn’t request this and am concerned by the amount of other people being affected in the same problem. I have also not been involved in any *****ulent activity, and am concerned about how this could have come about and how vague the responses are from Luno.
I would greatly appreciate a speedy resolution as up until now, I’ve found the luno app to be very informative and have had a good user experience.
