Shocking experience! Most expensive fees in the crypto market & terrible security practices
Absolute WORST crypto exchange option in South Africa.
Apart from it being the MOST expensive in terms of fees (double check against other exchanges, it will make you sick how much they deduct). Honestly the MOST expensive exchange I have ever used. They also dont allow you to buy and operate their website while using a VPN, so i have to disable my vpn and computer security to use Luno. That's scary in itself. Can believe that are forcing me to remove my computers security to use their site. Seems *****?!
I deposited R5000 and bought SOL. I was instantly left with around R4450. That was roughly R550 gone. In one transaction. How crazy expensive is that?
Then i tried withdrawing the SOL and it has errors so it feels like i have been ****med too now. i have read many other reviews saying others couldnt withdraw.
Avoid this exchange. Stick with VALR or even AltCoinTrader being so old is even better than Luno. I used Luno many years ago and now i remember why i avoided it, it was soooooo bad and ****my like,
Avoid at all costs. Its not worth the exorbitant fees, lack of support and issues with the site like no security or ability to move cryptos easily.
I feel very unsafe and uncomfortable with Luno and the way it carries out its business. to be honest. I see from the online reviews that many others feel the same way too.

I already rep**** much earlier and awaiting a reply. I refuse to give your Luno "specialized team" private and confidential information like where i am travelling and giving out other personal information. I am also still shocked that Luno requires their customers to disable their own computers security to access and and Lunos site, seems suspect to say the least.
There isn't much to investigate. Luno charged A MASSIVE fee to do one single trade, and then after the shock and horror, I decided to withdraw of which i cannot. You are surely aware of this as there are plenty other reviewers complaining about them not being able to access their own funds through Luno either.
Many are having the same issues and concerns about Luno and you guys are ignoring the big elephant in the room.
