26 May 2021, 14:53Hi Morwa, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Regarding our fees - sending cryptocurrency from Luno is made easy and fast using dynamic send fees, set by Luno based on how busy the network is.
We use a dynamic fee structure for BTC, BCH, ETH, LTC and USDC sends. This means that the fee charged varies dynamically depending on the network traffic. There is a static 0.03% send fee for XRP though.
You can read more about fees here:
https://www.luno.com/countries/ZA#send-fees
https://www.luno.com/blog/post/dynamic-send-fees
When there’s high network activity (generally during the week or when the price is volatile), you can expect higher dynamic fees. When there is lower network activity (generally during the weekend or when the price is stable), you can expect lower fees.
It’s important to understand that send fees don’t go to an exchange, but rather to the crypto miner who mines the transaction in question. Therefore, miners choose to mine the transactions with higher fees so they can earn more cryptocurrency. If you have any further queries, please feel free to reach out to us at https://www.luno.com/help/tickets/new and we will gladly assist.
