LUNO RED FLAG ****
I INTERACTED WITH A LADY THAT CALLS HERSELF SARAH her NUMBER is *** and she asked me to send her my pin, password and names and i refused I told her i am working i DO NOT need to invest with them, then she told me that she is willing to give me R5000 if I am willing to work with her because I work at a bank. Please be aware that LUNO IS A **** ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY SEND YOU A LINK TO DOWNLOAD THE APP. Then I was approached by a guy who calls using a nickname JAZZYQ. I asked his real name and he said THE NAME IS NOT IMORTANT and I will give him 5% when I get my profits, his number is *** for whatsap and when you download the app you will notice that your account is on LEVEL 1 that is also a red flag because when you deposit the first deposit they will tell you stories that for you to receive profits you need a LEVEL 2 account so you have to deposit again......I am glad I never invested but please BE AWARE THIS IS A ****.......DONT BE A VICTIM
We're sorry this has been your experience.
Please note that Luno is not affiliated with any investment schemes. Luno allows you to buy and sell, and store cryptocurrency.
When you pay cryptocurrency to third parties (individuals or companies), you will have to trust them enough to return your funds. Once you make a transaction, due to the nature of blockchain technology, it unfortunately cannot be reversed.
When requesting a cryptocurrency payment to your Luno account, you should provide the sender with your Luno wallet address. You can log into your Luno account and click on Receive to get your wallet address.
If you want to sell cryptocurrency in your Luno account for local currency, you can do so by using the Instant Sell feature in your Luno account.
You should never allow anyone to make decisions on your account, especially when it relates to your security, for example enabling sends.
We would strongly encourage you to learn how to use our app better and understand how it works. It is not designed to be used by anyone else besides the account holder. Secure your account by enabling 2FA and changing your password, learn more here:https://www.luno.com/help/en/articles/***
