Incredibly high transaction fees

I made a transaction on Luno wherby I sold my Ethereum for 12,500 and only received 11,800 in my wallet - That is a R700 transaction fee and on their website they say that the transaction fees are R8.50 - I am disgraced and wont advise anyone to download their app - bad mistake!!! rather choose a different provider for when you want to trade crypto currency
