Funds ******: Hacking/ suspicious activity reported to LUNO , Luno proceeds to disable security.

1. I immediately informed Luno about suspicious activity/potential hacking on my account via a call. They agreed to a soft lock my account and send an email to reset my account. I awaited an email which was never sent.

2. The very same day - a hacker typed in the chat section of the app to Luno “please do not soft lock the account and disable2 step authentication” to which Luno reacted to. Luno disabled the soft lock and they disabled the 2 step authentication while I informed Luno of suspicious activity.

3. R90000 of funds were ******.

4. Luno accepts no responsibility and maintain they followed protocol.

Issues which are evident with Luno security that I wish I knew before investing: 1. In an emergency - there is NO contact number. You fill out a contact form and hope and pray they call you back. 2. If a hacker gets into your app, which they can do, they can send messages in the chat section to which Luno admin do NOT validate with the account user and they act on disabling security.
