***** - and I got no help!
Someone called me regarding my Luno account. They had my email and ID number and helped me to "update my account to the new server". After following their prompts, someone changed my password and sent BTC from my account to another account. I got ****med - after reporting this IMMEDIATELY to Luno I got an email to say they are receiving a "Large influx of requests"... This is shocking service? And how can you guys not have an emergency call centre? Or have a verification system that confirms each payment via payment first!

We're so sorry to hear that this has been your experience.
Firstly and most importantly, if you still have not been in touch with our Support team regarding this, please do so as soon as you can here: https://www.luno.com/help/tickets/new
Secondly, what you have shared sounds like you were a victim of a social engineering attack called vishing. This is when a caller impersonates an organisation (in this case, Luno) and attempts to get valuable information from you in order to authenticate a transaction from your account.
Luno would never ask you to authenticate a transaction, neither would we request sensitive account information over the phone. Please fami****ise yourself with how these ****s operate here: https://www.luno.com/help/articles/***
We would also strongly recommend that you enable Two-Factor authentication on your account by following these steps: https://www.luno.com/help/articles/***
