Unable to record clients details accurately - unable to invoice correctly

<div>Lunar Solar came to quote (note – site visit, not based on info I provided), and quoted me on the system I wanted – something that would effectively take me off the grid during daylight hours (with some significant battery backup for when the sun stops shining!) Paid the considerable deposit upfront and patiently waited 7 weeks for installation. Batteries and inverter installed (very professionally). Next day – panels. Then we encountered problem number 1. I don’t have enough roof space for all the panels (despite the site visit.) Eventually I had to accept that only 2/3 of the panels would be installed and the system wouldn’t work as promised. Then the fun really started. I had advised (on quote acceptance – over 2 months ago) that I needed a tax invoice and provided the details. Unable to get a tax invoice and I can’t finalise payment without it. Owner of the company (who I believe is the only person who can issue a tax invoice) went on leave without dealing with outstanding emails (the email I sent, advising for the second time that her invoice was wrong was sent prior to 15h00, on her last day at work). Battled with a COC – Lunar Solar finally agreed to send the engineers out – but I can’t get a copy until full payment is received (there is just under 10% outstanding - which I can't pay until I receive the correct invoice). Apparently, I can’t get the invoice until I have made payment, which makes absolutely no sense! Effectively I can’t get the COC because I owe them, because they can’t invoice correctly. The knock-on effect of this is that my homeowner’s insurance is now at risk. There are other incidental issues, I can’t register the warranties with Sunsynk because I don’t have all the information (and ***** gave me an email address for queries that doesn’t exist), they have emailed my full name, cell phone number and residential address to a total stranger, I am not sure if they have started the process of registration with Cape Town (which appears to be a legal requirement prior to installation commencing). Lunar Solar deals with emails by ignoring them! They are a “master installer” according to Sunsynk, but that doesn’t mean anything apart from the fact that they have installed a lot of systems – it certainly does not mean that anyone has checked on their admin capabilities or sales process.</div>

We are incredibly passionate about striving towards becoming one of the best in the solar industry, and such feedback enables us to do so. In response to the matters highlighted, please kindly note that after thorough investigation: the pv installation could not be safely executed due to the structural integrity of the roof, it is important for us at Lunar to meet the needs of our clients, but our responsibility to ensure that we install as per regulation and safety requirements. Further investigation provided that, our invoicing processing was followed and provided accordingly, details were updated as requested the day prior to this review being shared, the compliance was actioned in accordance with our procedures and released once payment was received in full. We do hope that we can continue a positive solar journey for many years to come.
