Luna has been failed by our government

Ordered some custom furniture in February and was aware of the lead time of 25 to 30 business days. However closer to the estimated delivery date I had only received 2 emails notifying me of the progress. So I decided to follow up to check up on progress. To my disappointment, they told me there was a delay because of loadshedding. I asked if I could come visit them to see the current progress of my products and they were very accommodating. They showed me my sofa and chairs that were currently being worked on. The quality was unreal and they explained why there was a backlog. I'm posting this review because after visiting them it changed my whole feeling. This business is doing their utmost best to work through the effects of an *********** government. Loadshedding has forced so many businesses to close down and especially smaller ones. When they took me through their workshop, there were so many wrapped orders waiting outside to be shipped. The sewing lady had a huge pile of fabrics she was working hard to get through and all of the upholsterers were super busy, each working on couch or headboard. Their staff were running around coordinating orders and ensuring quality. Everyone was busy, not a single person was dragging their feet. They also had a generator outside.

They were very apologetic and sorted everything out. I got my furniture delivered. I am so happy, to see my vision come to life was truly a special moment. Yes it was a long wait. However, reading the negative reviews I felt like I had to share my experience. Luna has been incredible to work with, they truly care about quality and their customers. They are under lot of strain and the fact that they have survived covid and loadshedding is insane. Far bigger businesses have had to shut their doors.

Their stuff is amazing and it seems like they are overcoming the bottle neck. As South Africans , we should be more understanding, especially to smaller businesses. This business puts food on the table for more than 10 families. Will definitely be back for more furniture pieces in the future.
