Vetting clients without their permission!!!???
I did an online application on Lulalend website, I decided not continue with the application but they continued to credit vet me! I sent them an email about this and their administrator says the credit vet even if you don't complete the application, how?? Why is it not stated on the website?
How is me not finishing my application giving you consent to credit vet me???? An unauthorized vetting??? What is the point of vetting an incomplete application????

27 Oct 2021, 13:36Hi Lerato M, Thank you for contacting Lulalend and bringing this to our attention. Helping SMEs grow is something we pride ourselves on, and we completely understand your concern. However, the T&C's on our website indicate that we do credit checks on all incoming applications and since you completed a full application and only dropped off at the bank statement step, a complete credit check would need to be done as indicated on the T&Cs on our website.
We hope the above mentioned is understood and well received.
All the best of success in your SME's future.
Team Lula!
