Waiting for a refund for my flight since 2021

I have had the most bizarre experience with Lufthasa since 2021. Flights were being cancelled and rescheduled often, so I opted for a refund. I used to call them every month to enquire about my refund and every time they said it would take 7 working days and every time the money was not refunded. On two occasions I have received emails from them that a random flight, that I never booked, was due to depart. Yesterday, 14 November 2022, I received an email that a flight is leaving on 18 November 2022 from Lisbon to Zurich and then from there to Frankfurt. Firstly, I have not been in Europe since 2021. Why would I want to fly from Lisbon if I am in South Africa? Why are they booking a flight to Germany? Why an intra-European flight when my flight was a return flight from Johannesburg to Lisbon? It is as though they don't want to give me a refund, but want to force me to take whatever flight they try and force on me. How difficult could it be to process a refund? Every time I have to call their call centre and wait for an hour and sometimes the call is dropped and I have to call again. What about accountability?
