LUFTHANSA SOUTH AFRICA TOTALLY OUT OF THEIR DEPTH

There is a strike in Germany, flights were cancelled from OR Tambo last night. Re-booked for today whether we wanted to or not (with a likely chance of the strike not ending today). Been holding on for 59 minutes to cancel since we cant cancel online only to be answered and CUT OFF!! What sort of service is the? The ground staff last night were totally out of their depth as well. Shocking customer service! And totally disorganized as well. No clue on how to proceed in the event of a flight cancellation and now I must hold on to the South African Lufthansa branch??? and be cut off after holding on for an hour???
