DONT FLY LUFTHANSA

NEVER fly Lufthansa, especially if you or a fellow passenger has a challenge and needs assistance or a young child needs to be accompanied! My 87 year old mother was confirmed for wheelchair assistance but at Toulouse, she had to disembark alone, get a trolley, get her luggage and pass customs and passport unassisted? On her return journey after several delays, the flight was cancelled and Mom had to pay for her hotel herself? Lufthansa has NO contact number for assistance and NO number for customer care, only an on line "feedback". They do not respond till last leg of journey has been completed... they take approximately 6 weeks to respond, lie by telling you your IBAN number does not work, then finally say they had to "link your bank" *** IBAN numbers are bank language. They then finally make promises of payment and say it may take a few days.... well it's now 19 days since supposed payment almost 3 months since ********** experience and they do not respond to their email anymore and one has to lodge another feedback. There is no ombudsman for passengers. The solution is NOT to fly with Lufthansa, NOT to let them abuse us (passengers) NOT to accept this as a paying client... then eventually they will improve... BUT I DOUBT IT! ... the one star rating is only there because I could not leave it as zero and there is no minus rating provided for
