AVOID LTP AUTO SPARES

Purchased a used car part on 21st September from LTP AUTO SPARES in Ottery. Marc , the manager/owner supp**** the part to my husband who assumed the part was in working order. The air box had been dirty as expected from a second hand dealer and my husband took it and put it in a box in bubble wrap. Since it was a long weekend, the mechanic said he would do the job on Monday 25th September. When the mechanic checked and cleaned the part, he said it was cracked and could not be fitted. We contacted Marc at LTP on the 26th September and sent him photos. He said he had checked the part and there was no crack. My husband reminded him that he never checked it because his mechanic had brought it to him after removing it in the rain so he could not say that the part was damaged by my husband nor the mechanic.

The company invoice states that refunds for faulty goods are done within 3 days of purchase and we were within that time period. Marc then said that they do not refund but will source another part failing which they would consider a refund. My husband returned the part and agreed that they had until 4th October to refund him the R2500.

Marc has not kept his word... he has the faulty part and says he awaits a decision from the finance department.

6th October... no response from Marc and no refund.

Disgusting customer service and they clearly do not honour what is stated as their own T&C's on their invoice.

Very poor start to what is supposed to be a new business.... more like cheat the client and keep the cash!
