LRG Solar - No Go
This company under ownership of Gerrie Keuler installed 2 Lithium Batteries in April 2023 at my premises and I was issued with an invoice stipulating that these batteries came with a 10 year guarantee. I am now experiencing problems with said batteries and when I contacted Mr keuler, he has moved to Cape Town and place the burden on me to sort out the problems, requesting that I obtain services of local installer to dismantle and then send the batteries to Cape Town by courier. This is unacceptable as it should be Mr Keuler arranging for dismantling and courier to Cape Town. Furthermore, how long would I have to wait for these batteries to be returned to me and who would be responsible for any costs pertaining to this operation. As I see it, bearing in mind that there is a 10 warranty on these batteries, I should not be held responsible for any fees. Having called him approx a month ago, he has not returned to me to offer any solution to this problem. In other words he does not provide after sale service and therefore can not fullfill his 10 year guarantee. He is now apprently employed by a Cape Town company and does not seem interested in any customer problems pertaining to his previous business being LRG Solar EC (PTY) LTD.
