Shopping local is not lekker
Now I understand why South Africans don't shop locally! This is why we support Temu and Shein

06 Oct 2025, 14:29Ordered a jumpsuit on 23 Sep 25 for my daughter's wedding on 4 Oct. I was assured that it would arrive in time. After numerous mails leading up to the 4th Oct I was told it was delivered but I had received nothing. I have been waiting since 3rd Oct for tracking number, courier name and POD and still nothing. No contact number to actually phone and only whatsapp and emails to communicate. I never buy locally because Shein and Temu are so good and half the price and decided I needed to support local businesses. Biggest mistake of my life. It is now 6 Oct and I still haven't received my order and R700 more to get another outfit for the wedding. I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered. I would never have ordered. I see I am not the only person who has received this shocking service. Word of mouth is so powerful so I guess I will be talking a lot about Lovu in the future.....and unfortunately punting Shein and Temu.
