The Worst Hospital Ever (Dirty too)

This is by far the WORST hospital I have ever been to. The nurses do not give a care in the world. The kids ward to be specific. I meant they work with babies and small kids and you would think they got in the field because of their love for the little ones. Hell no.

We were admitted on Friday, well my smal baby girl that is, and we start at reception and their slow admission . The referring GP had a letter to the doctor and it was a straight admission but I was told to group to the doctor. Fine. Doctor has meetings so he was late.

Okay, we went to the ward and had to go to xrays and scans.

My problem started the following day. A nurse came into the room at 4am and was holding a baby bath dish, i didnt hear much as I was sleepy and tired. I kindly said I will bath her when she wakes up. At that time I didnt know it was an issue.

I woke up and bathed my child, breastfeed her and she slept again and I bathed too.

I also woke up to bedding and a change of clothes for her, again, the bedding part i didnt know it was an issue at the time.

1. They hear the drip machine making beeping sounds and keep passing and do not attend to it immediately.

2. They dont change the baby bed, with the bedding they brought for the cot because we are still sleeping. Mind you we are sleeping on the big bed. So what is shopping them from changing the cot cos we are sleeping, i do not have a clue.

3. When she slept around 7pm visiting hours yesterday, I asked them to keep an eye and ear out for her. As I will attend to my guests in the visiting area. I went out and I dont remember what time I came back . To a baby crying her lungs out i could hear her immediately when I entered the ward door which is far from the room.. she had swollen eyes and mucus to show that she has been crying for long.i was told " I thought you were with her". This after I TOLD them i am going to the visiting area. And if she was crying like that with me why dont they get it to check what could be the problem. They do not care thats why.

4. The bath thing again, they came and I gently said no again. I will bath her when she wakes up. The previous day we had woken up at 8am. It was our first good sleep in almost a week since she was not well.i hear them complaining and she came in and said the nurses say I refuse for them to bath the baby. She said procedure is to bath and be ready for the doctor's. At 4AM. Okay.

5. Apparently because I dont wake up at 4am they can't make MY bed so looks as if they are not doing their jobs. That time they do not bring bedding and have never gave me beddingfor my bed and they only bring for the empty which is empty at night/mornings.

6. Its day 4, a nurse notice she doesnt have a hand band. Day 4. Thats when she when and made a band. A very bad bands. Long and lose it came out before she even took a bath.

7. Back at day 1, i forgot to mention the room was dirty. Basins and under the bed next to the wall. The bedding itself. The floor. My word. The filth is disgusting. I had to move the bed and ask them to clean and also the basins.

8. Even found a ****roach one night when I went to the bathroom.

9. They make you sign that the nurse introduced themselves and explain stuff that time the only thing they said was my name is ...and I will be your attending nurse...and NOTHING else like the stupid 4am bath time.

10. Breakfast is always late. Lunch lady keeps forgetting the juice i ordered and because its on the order form i signed i asked for it because then it will be included in my bill.

I would NEVER recommend this hospital to anyone and I will NEVER come back. The WORST kids section ever.

I Mean look at all the other reviews about them nothing positive which goes to show. Do not come.
