Lotto Star, Lotto Trash!

The worst platform I've ever come accross!

I've only joined this platform since I entered a competition, made a transfer because I needed to place a bet (as part of the competition), and after the competition closed, I wanted my balance back... it is, afterall MY money, and I had no winnings attached to it. So it should be simple, right? Just as easy as 1,2,3 when I made the trasfer, right?

Definitely not...!

So upon making the transfer, all I had to do was have my credit card at hand, and follow a very basic 'secure check out' routine, entered an OPT pin, bob's your uncle... they have my money!

So when I decided I wanted my balance back, I had to follow this crazy application process. Upload Id, proof of address and other absurd documents, to get MY money? On the site it stated that u need to at least upload 1 of the documents listed below. I had all, but 1... this should be fine, right? I've uploaded, requested to withdraw, got a message back 'withdrawal cancelled' . No explanation, other than referring back to heir site... that I must check whether I've uploaded all the relevant documents. Wow! Amazing customer service (I'm being sarcastic). I tried to withdraw again, and again, and I kept on getting the same response.

So on I went, contacting the 'customer service support' and they inform me that I had to upload all of the documents listed below. I referred back to their site, telling them that I don't have the last document, and that their site stated that one should upload at least one of the documents listed below...

They've come back to me and stated that I needed to upload all of the documents.

So I had to wait, for our dear reliable SA Post Office to drop a letter proving that I live somewhere... uploaded the doc, app**** for a withdrawal... got a mail back to say, drum roll please..... 'withdrawal cancelled'

Wow! Impressive (I'm being sarcastic again).

Now I'm furious! This time around they're expecting me to give them 5% of my money (now, let me just say, I would understand if this is money that I won, but it is MY money! No winnings at all...) I was so teed off that I accepted the 5% deduction just so that I could have my money back. Had me thinking though, if u were to win R1million on Lotto Star... after that 5% deduction... guess what? You're no longer a millionaire! Dreams Shattered!

So this is how they make money. U pay them by buying credits, you bet on the outcome of some Lottery (there goes a few rands), maybe you win, maybe you loose, you pleace a few more bets (there goes a few more rands), maybe you win, maybe you loose... guess what, whatever you have left, they take another 5% to make you feel like a winner (I'm being sarcastic once again).

...okay, back to my story. I agreed, right. Not long thereafter, I get a mail, stating that the 5% is deducted, I can now withdraw. Great! I'm on it... apply for the withdrawal, my docs are all still there... Apply for withdrawal... (did I mention that getting in is so easy, but getting out is the total opposite?)...

Their response: withdrawal cancelled!

Brilliant! (I probably don't need to tell you that I'm being sarcastic at this point, am I right?)

So I go back on their site, trying to explain my frustration once again... and here pop's up a Live Chat Assistant. How can I help you? Unfortunately, she was the one who was going to get it this morning, all because her other colleagues are ******** and imbacils. Anyway, I start typing my 'enquiry', probably got the fright of her life, or maybe it was her first day at work, I don't know... but she transfers my chat to so many others, I lost count.

There was an error, please request for the withdrawal and your money will be paid tomorrow. I'm like, I heard that before... she responded by saying apologies for the inconvenience. I dead out ignored that, because inconvenience sounds like too subtle of a word... I ask further what 'error' now? She ignores it, answers bu once again apologising, I asked again "what error? please dont make me ask for an explination as many times as I requested for my money back" She comes back and says, oh nothing, your withdrawal was cancelled my mistake...

Mistake? Maybe you took 5% of my money by mistake and I should charge it back from you for this mistake...

Money, hungry ********... That's all they are. And too many people are too afraid to say something. So there... I'm done with Lotto Star, and I will tell everyone about this!
