Lotter's Pine Queenswood
The display unit you have bought is actually made of solid Oregon Pine (very rare indeed) and this wood is probably over 50 years old. Cracking in this instance doesn’t sound like the problem but I see from your video that some sort of movement took place. This could unfortunately be caused by a number of possible causes. From extreme humidity to over temperatures as well as another vast number of reasons. I must also note that some of the intended pointed “faults” are in-fact the “old cottage” of the style intended. Seeing that this item has been purchased well over a year ago and taking into account all the possibilities concerning the cause, we will not be able to replace the unit concerned. We will however, in line with our commitment to excellent client relations and after sales service, procure on your behalf a company capable of restoring this beautiful piece of art. The cost of such restoration will be to your account but we undertake to give it you at our basic cost and no delivery charge either way. Best Regards Armando O.
