Baccuneers shoes poor qualify

I bought this shoes 6 January 2019 at Lorsons Roodepoort and it was damaged within a month. We lost the receipt as the shoes was bought in good faith. Upon taking the shoe back the shop keeper by the name Ishmael refused to help and demanded a receipt which we already explained that we lost it. He refused to do the reprint of the slip. I contacted the manufacturer Buccaneers and spoke to Peter the technical manager whom I get the feeling that he's reluctant to assist with his poor quality shoes. He tells me he's trying to contact the store but they're not coming back to him after leaving numerous messages for them. Please help as my rights as a customer are being infringed and all those hard working customers from this selfish business practice.
