NO cover abroad. Despite endless promises and endless excuses. No chance!
I was told I would be able to claim on my insurance from the UK after I had to return to visit family. LOOM insurance put roadblock after roadblock in my way and in the end, after paying my monthly premiums for months on end while continuing to try and sort out the problem they cancelled my claim. False promises. If you're going to leave the country, cancel your insurance immediately. They say they'll cover you they will NOT.

Kindly note that we do cover clients during their holiday travels but claims are settled in South Africa as we are a South African insurance company. Unfortunately we cannot offer cover if you do not stay in South Africa. You are welcome to let us know if you have any other questions.

21 Mar 2020, 23:28Yeah I suspected as much but I was explicitly told I could claim outside South Africa and was told to get one quote after another. Now I see it was simply to allow my month payments to continue for the benefit of the company, as the adjusters had no intention of coming right on my claim. Despite your good reviews, you employ sneaky tactics like the rest of insurance companies and are no better.
