Do Not Use Loom.

They replaced my macbook air with an 8 months old computer from a company callee panda. This panda company bought the device from Dion Wired in March 2019. The macbook is out of warranty and cannot be taken to istore for repairs since Loom cancelled my insurance without informing me even though their terms says that they will automatically cover the “new” device - well the device was not new at all as i have just learned the hardest way possible. I now have to pay over R15000 to have it repaired because it is out of warranty. They are shifting blame to their supplier and their supplier is pointing fingers at them. I have opened a case with the Ombudsman for short term insurance and hope that they will be held liable for this malpractice and deceit.
