Overpriced!

I bought a leather handbag that was originally priced at $308, which I got on discount for a little over $100. What I got was slightly different in color (which could have been chalked up to "screen differences," as they are always quick to say), smelled like the interior of a cheap Chinese factory, and had a dented corner and scuffs. The gold hardware looked and felt cheap, and the leather itself felt a little dubious in quality. Definitely not worth $100, much less $300. I would have maybe paid $50-70 for a perfect item, but with those defects, not $50. Customer service was prompt and polite, but it's kind of maddening that I have to pay $30 to return a ****py item--sure, if it had really been $300 quality, that would justify things. But for a bag that obviously came from an Aliexpress factory? Ugh. I've purchased earrings from LLS that are pretty, but looking back now, I have my doubts about whether they were truly worth the price I paid. I'm no longer going to buy from this shop, as I can't bring myself to trust their cost performance.
