Rude

I went to the Look and Listen In Loch Logan to exchange a Vinyl that I got as a gift, I already own this specific one. When I got there, the staff and 'manager' were extremely rude and said because it's not faulty, they can't exchange it, this is their policy. The 'manager' went to the back to bring me a little note that says they can't exchange it because it's not faulty. No where is there a sign that you can't exchange a product if it isn't faulty.
